So You Want To Be a Demonstrator!!!

So, I don't know if any of you are like me...a crazy woman avid stamper, but I want to share a bit about how I got started in stamping/paper craft and how Stampin Up came into my life.    When I was working full time, I had a friend who is a card maker and I envied her creativity and how beautiful her projects were....I said....I want to learn how to do this!!   However, as I was working full time, I really did not have any available time to learn or do any thing like that.   When I retired, my friend took me under her wing---and she shared with me all the materials and equipment she used as well as how to use them.   Hubby bought me my BIG SHOT and the rest is history.    For a couple of years I was creating cards---using materials from the Big Box stores and I was introduced to one of the On line Demos----Jessica Taylor---I quickly started following her videos and thought I should try some of their products.   Well, it was all over. I was hooked on Stampin' Up products.   The quality has no comparison!     It wasn't long when I realized that I needed to become a Demonstrator.   I just love what I do so much, and believe in the products, I just had to. I want to share with you a poem I wrote to encourage those of you who are contemplating being a Demonstrator.   I am telling you, once you TAKE THE STEP, you will never go back!   ENJOY!

Upcoming Changes with Stampin" Up

Hi Stamping Friends!

Just wanted you to all be aware of some upcoming changes that will be occuring very soon.

1---PRICE CHANGES----As with any business, there will always be price changes in manufacturing and production, global exchange rate changes and competitive rates---after all Stampin' Up is a business like many others----so you will be seeing a SLIGHT increase in SOME prices----mostily I noted in Card Stock, the Medium Size Envelopes and Designer Paper.  There are a few other items I noted such as embossing powder and some other items.  A more comprehensive list will be available soon.

2---CHANGES WITH DIE CUTTING AND EMBOSSING----Effective with the new 2019-20 Catalgoue, Stampin' Up will no longer be selling the Big Shot die cutting and embossing machine as well as any of the accessories that goes with it.  Now that being said, there are reasons.   Stampin' Up has had a 10 yr contract with Sizzex who brands the Big Shot.  The contract is expiring and the company would like to research and explore ways of improving and providing a better product.   There are many places where you an purchase a die cutting/ embossing machine.   And don't worry, your dies and embossing folders will work with any of the machines out there.

In addition, the embossing folders and dies will be different.   Again, it is an improvement and a change of manufacturing.   Only for the better.

Since I will be attending the ONSTAGE event this Saturday in Salt Lake City, I know these changes will be addressed and I know I will obtain much more information that I will be able to share with you all.

Remember that Change, tho scary, is always good...and we know that is something that we will always have in our lives.   I am sure that Stampin' Up will continue to have quality products to serve us all and we will all learn and grow together.

I'll get back with all of you next week, when I return.

Sale A Bration Ending Soon!

Hi Fancy Stampers!

Hope you are all having a Great Monday!    Just a Quick reminder to you all---there is just a week left to take advantage of Sale A Bration with their choice of available products while supplies last if you purchase $50 in products.   I know many have been disappointed that some products that were on the SAB list---sold out in record time.  Myself included!   Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to change the products that get picked up quickly.   We are not alone is this feeling.  I actually reached out to the Stampin' Up Team in Utah, and although, there is not much they can do about this year, they were made aware of mine and everyone's concerns re: the quick depletion of their inventory.  We will have to wait and see what ideas they will have in store over the next months--to try and rectify the problem

This week, I will be having my last class of the month----On March 31st, I am offering a STAMPIN' BLENDS class.   We will be focusing on using the Blends markers.   Many people have never used Alcohol markers before, and I was one of them until the Blends Came along.   And although I was a bit intimidated at first, the more I use them, the more I become comfortable and proficient with them.   Everyone will have 3-4 prints to color---diffeent types of images, so they can have an opportunity to learn how to shade and add dimension to their projects.   The Blends are lots of fun---so if you live in my area, let me know if you are interested.  Space is limeted and I am sure I can offer the same class again in the future, if you are not able to attend this week.

In about 2 weeks I will be heading to Salt Lake City for our Stampin' Up ONSTAGE Event for demonstrators.  This is a fun time for us as we will be given the new Annual Catalogue and get to see and use many new products.  We will hear new reports from the home office Team in Riverton Utah.   The Best part of the day is being able to meet and hang out with people who like me, love to stamp.   If any of you are ever interested in being a Demo or learning more about Stampin' Up, just reach out to me!  I am happy to share all I know.

Thanks so much for checking out my site-----Take care and we'll be talking soon!
