Broadway Birthday Number 3 Card

In a final card from this suite we have another whimsical card with bright metallic colors. For the inside stamping, I used the Stamparatus---to ensure that I have clean crisp and even stamped images since the stamp is larger and uses more ink. I hope you have fun with this one.

*Cut a piece of Whisper White CS for card base of 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 in

*Cut 2 pieces of DSP--one Gold side at 4 in x 5-1/4 in for your 1st layer. Cut another piece of the same DSP at 3 in x 3-1/4 in and you will use the opposite side.

*Cut 1 piece of Lemon Lime twist at 4-1/2 in x 1/2 in (cut banner end on 1 side)

*Cut 1 piece of Lovely Lipstick at 4 in x 1/2 in (cut banner end on both sides)

*You will also need 1 scrap piece each of Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist for the balloons and the string bows.

*Die cut the Gold Foil with the oblong shape die in Broadway Lights Framelits. Set the large shape aside and keep the frame.

*Die cut Whisper White with the oblong shape and keep the large shape---you can put the frame aside.

*Stamp the Bow and String twice and die cut the shape with the appropriate die.

*Stamp the sentiment for the front of the card on the oblong image---using Lovely Lipstick. You can use Tuxedo Memento Black.

*Die cut 1 balloon each in Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist.

*Using the Stamparatus---stamp the inside of the card sentiment with the large "WISH" stamp using Lovely Lipstick---you may need to re-stamp 2-3 times to achieve the shade and crisp image you need. That is why it is best to use the Stamparatus.

*Then take the dot image of WISH and stamp using the Stamparatus or may do free hand --- in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.

*To assemble the card:

*Place the gold foil DSP on your base.

*Center the 3 in x 3-1/4 in piece on top.

*Align your 1/2 in pieces of Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist strips under the 2nd layer and to the left side. Use Snail or liquid glue.

*Secure the 3 in x 3-1/4 in piece with dimensionals.

*Add your Whisper White stamped sentiment piece to the center with adhesive of choice.

*Secure the gold foil frame around the sentiment image.

*Finally add your balloons to the upper right side with the bow and string under each balloon. Use dimensionals to secure the balloons.
