Bunny Card

Here is a whimsical Easter Card made with punches and dies---a bit of color and ribbon. A hit with the little ones in your life. Enjoy!

Gather your supplies:

*1 piece Whisper White Card stock measuring 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 in scored and folded at 4-1/2 in

*1 piece Whisper White measuring 3-3/4 x 5 in for the inside layer

*2 pieces of Blushing Bride card stock measuring 4 x 5-1/4 in---emboss 1 (for the front) using the Basket Weave 3D embossing folder through the Big Shot

*Multiple scraps of Highland Heather, Pool Party and So Saffron cardstock---punch out 4-5 flowers using the Small Bloom punch

*Scraps of Old Olive and punch out 2-3 leaves with the Leaf Punch.

*With multiple scraps of Whisper White Cardstock, punch out 2 circles with the 1-3/4 in Circle Punch---2 circles with the 3/4 in Punch.

*Cut out 4 ovals using Whisper White Card stock and the larger Oval Die

*Using Blushing Bride Card stock, punch out 1 circle with the 1/2 in Circle Punch, and 1 circle with the 1/4 in hand punch (this piece is for the bunny's tongue)---Using the next size Oval Die, cut out 4 ovals with Blushing Bride Card stock.

*Using a 1/4 in Punch, punch out 2 small circles for eyes with Basic Black Card stock.

*Using a Cut piece of Sponge or the Sponge Dauber---and Blushing Bride Ink, gently sponge all around the edges of all the cut Whisper White pieces and the Blushing Bride Pieces.

*Stamp Your Happy Easter Sentiment from Easter Promises to the Inside layer of Whisper White Card stock--using Crumb Cake Ink. Add one of the punched flowers and leaves to the upper left corner, using adhesive of choice.

*Using a White Gel Pen---you can add a highlight to the Basic Black Punched eyes---to add character.

Assemble the Card.

*Layer the Whisper White Stamped layer for the inside--to plain piece of 4 x 5-1/4 in Blushing Bride Card stock. Secure to the inside of the Whisper White Base.

*With the 2-1-3//4 circles attache 1 on top of the other, overlapping at the top.

*Layer the Blushing Bride Oval cutouts to the Whisper White Cutouts.

*Using liquid glue---attach 2 on the top to make the bunny ears and 2 on the bottom for the feet, turning the feet slightly outward as in the photo.

*Attach the 2---3/4 in Whisper White circles side by side to the top center large circle to create the cheeks.

*Add the 1/2 in Blushing Bride Circle to the center of the cheeks to make the nose. Add the 1/4 in Blushing Bride punch piece just under the nose to create a tongue.

*Add the Basic Black Circles above to make the eyes.

*Make a small bow using the Whisper White Flax Ribbon and secure with a glue dot to the neck region of your bunny.

*Add 2 flowers and leaves to the upper right corner and 1 flower and leaf to the bottom right corner. You can add a Basic Rhinestone Gem to the center of all your flowers.

*Secure your bunny at a slight right angle and pop up with dimensionals.
