The Quite Curvy Bindle from Stampin’ Up is a fun and whimsical design set to make unique Christmas cards. In this design I used non traditional Christmas colors for a very pretty card.

Gather your supplies:

*1 piece of Misty Moonlight card stock measuring 8-1/2 x 5-1/2–scored and burnished at 4-1/4 for your base.

*1 piece of Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4 in for your inside layer. 1 piece of Whisper White 4-1/8 x 5-3/8. You will use this piece to cut your curvy layers for the front.

*1 piece of the Sahara sand print in Classic Christmas DSP cut 3 in x 5-3/8 in.

*1 piece of Misty Moonlight ribbon cut approximately 5-1/2 in & 1 4 in piece to make a bow.

*1 scrap of Gold foil to cut out the leaves

*Take your larger Whisper White piece and the plain single edge curvy die cut the piece approximately 1/4-1/3 in from the top. Do this on the landscape side. It does not have to be exact. Refer to the picture.

TIP: Make sure that the cutting edge of the die is on the bottom so the row of dots will be on the top. Refer to the picture.

*with the remaining piece of card stock, align the same die so to cut a single curved edge piece approximately 3/4 in

Time to stamp!

*Take the tree line and using Misty Moonlight ink—stamp the tree line on the top Whisper White piece just along the dotted line. The stamp itself is pliable so as you can place it on your acrylic block and match up along the line.

*Stamp your front sentiment on your 3/4 in piece, following the same guidelines for alignment.

*Stamp your inside sentiment on the other 4 x 5-1/4 in Whisper White piece for the inside layer. I also stamped the upper left corner with a short edge of trees.

*Take the top curvy tree stamped Whisper White piece and run it through the cut and emboss machine using the Softly Falling Emboss folder. This step is optional— or you could use any of the snowflake emboss folder as well.

*Take the tree lined Whisper White embossed piece—as well as the DSP Sahara Sand print. Align them on the 5-3/8 in edge. Dry match it to the edge of your card base so you will have an equal border all around. When you determine where your border should be—you can use Stampin’ Seal or Multipurpose glue to secure the Whisper White piece together with your DSP. take your larger ribbon piece and wrap around the bottom of the DSP—secure with Stampin’ Seal on the back.

*using Multipurpose glue or Stampin’ Seal, secure your curved sentiment under your Whisper White Tree stamp piece so you have a separation of about 3/4 in. Again, it does not have to be exact.

*Glue your foil leaves on the bottom ribbon edge wherever you feel it looks the best. Make a bow with your shorter piece of ribbon and secure with a glue dot.

TIP: You can add tiny foil starts or gems to your sky and as I did, I used a gold gel pen to color in a few of the trees for added sparkle.

So many ways you can change this up to make your own. I hope you enjoy making this card!
