Flowering Desert Card

Living In Arizona, this is a perfect card for those of us in the Desert! Flowering Desert Stamp Set is a Welcome addition to the 2019 Occasions Catalogue and my Stamp Collection! How do you like this cute card?

*Cut your card base using Crumb Cake Card Stock to 4-1/4 in x 5-1/2 in

*Cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla----1 at 4 in x 5-1/4 in and the other at 3-3/4 in x 5 in

*Cut a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock (retired) to 4 in x 5-1/4 in (You can use any of the rose / pink colors)

*Stamp the "sandy ground" from the Waterfront stamp set---on the lower edge of the Very Vanilla piece---measuring 3-3/4 in x 5 in

*Starting from the left side---and using Old Olive ink--stamp the large saguaro cactus--the berry cactus---and the aloe vera cactus ---add some ferns in between. Leave a space to add one more smaller saguaro cactus (as pictured.)

*Using the Sweet Sugarplum ink---stamp the smaller cactus in between the other cactuses (as pictured)

*With a scrap strip of Very Vanilla---stamp the sentiment for the front of the card using Crumb Cake ink. Cut in even strip and banner the right edge.

*Stamp the inside Very Vanilla piece with the berry cactus to the lower right corner---with the Old Olive ink.

*Using Crumb Cake ink along with a sponge dauber, gently distress the edges of the Very Vanilla Card Stock pieces to give an "antique" look.

*Assemble your card!

*Take the stamped Cactus Very Vanilla piece--adhere with glue or snail to the Sweet Sugarplum piece and then on to your front Card Base of Very Vanilla.

*Take the other Very Vanilla with the Berry cactus stamp and adhere to the inside of the card base.

*Take the sentiment strip and adhere with dimensionals to the upper right hand corner of the front of the card.
