Honey Bee by Stampin' Up

Bee card

I made this adorable card using the Honey Bee Stamp Set along with the Golden Honey Designer Paper from Stampin' Up. There are coordinating Dies however, I don't have them and was able to make a sweet card. I hope you like it. You may want to add your own spin on it!

*1 card base--8-1/2 in x 5-1/2 of Whisper White card stock, scored and folded in half. You will need another piece of Whisper White Card stock cut at 3-3/4 x 5 in for the inside layer.

*1 piece Daffodil Delight cut at 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 in
2 scrap pieces of Daffodil Delight Card stock and punch 1 large and 2 medium daisy pieces---you can use 2 pieces of either size if you only have 1 size of Punch.
*1 piece of Daffodil Delight Card stock cut at 4 x 5-1/4 in for the inside.

*1 large piece of Whisper White Card stock and stamp the large Bee hive with Daffodil Delight ink. I fussy cut the beehive which was easy---but if you have the die---cut it with your Big Shot.

*Using Versamark ink, stamp the "Hello" greeting on a scrap piece of Whisper White Card stock---sprinkle with the Gold Emboss powder and using the heat tool, melt the ink.

*You can stamp the inside sentiment "Thinking of You..." using the Versamark, then Gold Emboss powder and melt using the heat tool.

*Cut 3 small bumblebees from the DSP and set aside.

*Cut a piece of the Black & White striped ribbon to approximately 6 in. The ribbon used is a Stampin' Up Ribbon that is retired---You can use any black / white ribbon

Assemble:

*Layer the stamped/embossed card for the inside to the Daffodil Delight Layer. Adhere to the Inside Card Base---use any adhesive of your choice.

*Layer the DSP to the Basic Black layer using your adhesive of choice---Secure the ribbon to the left side vertically on the DSP--use snail to the back to secure.

*Layer your two Daisy punches together so as the petals are offset from each other---Secure to the top left corner over the ribbon with a Dimensional. Add your Gold jewel to the center.

*Adhere the Beehive slight left of the center using Dimensionals.

*Attach your front Sentiment oval to the right lower corner using Dimensionals.

*Add some leaf punches around the flower as well as place two of the small cut out bees on the front---I put one on the beehive and one near the flower---but you can place anywhere.

*Add your 3rd cut bee on the inside left upper corner.

*You can use Wink of Stella to shimmer up the bee's wings.

Voile' You are done!!
