I cannot get enough of Gilded Autumn Suite. Maybe it’s because I love the Season of Fall so much! I love the colors of the Midwest. Here is a pretty Autumn inspired card I hope you like!

Gather your Supplies:

*1 piece of 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 in Min PT Macaron Card stock, scored and folded at 4-1/4 in. On the front of your folded card base with opening at the right, measure to the middle of the front—2-1/8 in—cut off that piece. ***refer to the photo.
* Using the large layering scalloped die, cut 2 Mint Macaron pieces.

*cut 1 piece of Early espresso Card stock to 4 x 5-1/4 in ( for the inside)
Cut another piece 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 in for the front cover piece.

*Cut 1 piece of DSP 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 in. Cut another piece of DSP at 1-3/4 x 5-1/8 in

* Using the coordinating plain layering circle die—cut 2 circles of Very Vanilla.

TIP—I used circles that were approximately 2-3/4 in —you need to choose the sizes you like. I opted to just reveal a slight edge of the Mint Macaron scalloped border. It doesn’t matter— your choice, but make sure the circles on the inside will be the same size or smaller than the outside.

*Using Mint Macaron ink—stamp your background leaves on the outer Very Vanilla Piece and the Wheat sprig on the inside piece. I “stamped off” the color to provide a lighter shade. These stamps are from Beautiful Autumn Stamp set.

*Stamp your chosen sentiments for the outer and inside on the Very Vanilla Circles using Early Expresso Ink.

*Using the Autumn Punches punch out several copper and gold leaves. Using the Flourishing Dies—cut out several little leaves using Mint Macaron Card stock

Let’s assemble our project!

*Layer all the DSP pieces to the Early Expresso and then to the Mint Macaron card base. It is best to use your glue as it is much easier to ensure that all the edges are even.

*Adhere your Very Vanilla circles to the Scalloped Mint Macaron Circles.

*Carefully dry check your circles—your outside circle should directly match over the inside circle. When you know that the circles are aligned. Glue or use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the inside circle to the middle of the card.

*Now you want to align your outer circle to the front. Attach Dimensionals to ONLY the LEFT side so the Circle is adhered to the cover and able to be opened.

*You then can scatter your leaves to the upper right of the outer circle. Alternate the colors. Do the same to the inside— but I placed them to the upper left of the circle and only used 1 each of the copper, gold and Mint Macaron.

*add a few Gilded Gems to the card.

*Make a bow and using Glue dots, secure to the bottom of the front circle.

All done! Ready for mailing just in time for Thanksgiving!
