Poppy Parade Card

Peaceful poppies

The Peaceful Poppies Suite is new to the Stampin' Up 2020 Mini Catalogue. This was a fairly quick and easy card as the Designer Paper is the Background. I added a couple of single 'popped up" poppies to the picture and have a quick and easy card! Enjoy!

Gather supplies:

*1 Whisper white card base---8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4 in

*1 piece Whisper white cut 3-3/4 x 5 in (for the inside layer)

*4 scraps of Whisper White to die cut 3 poppies and 1 tag or sentiment.

*2 pieces of Poppy parade Cardstock cut 4 x 5-1/4 in

*1 piece of Basic Black card stock cut 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 in

*1 piece of DSP cut 3-3/4 x 5 in

*Using 3 of your 4 scrap Whisper White pieces--stamp the flat image of a poppy using Poppy Parade--set aside to dry.

*For your inside layered Whisper White Piece, Stamp your Sentiment in the Middle using Poppy Parade. Layer this piece to the inside of your card base.

*In the upper left side---and using Old Olive--stamp the leaf design.

*Stamp the detailed poppy image on the 3 stamped Poppy Parade pieces you did earlier. Using the matching die cut---cut out the 3 poppy shapes.

*Using Dimensionals adhere 1 to the inside upper left ---aligned with the leaf you stamped.

*Using your scrap Old Olive card stock--stamp and cut out 2-3 leaves. Set aside.

*Layer your Poppy Parade to the card base. Layer the Basic Black to Poppy Parade and finally layer the DSP to the Basic Black.

*Adhere your 2 other stamped poppies to the upper left side. Align your leaves randomly around the poppies.

*Stamp your cover sentiment to your 3rd Whisper White Scrap with Poppy Parade and die cut with the die from Painted Label Dies

*Using about 4-5 circles of the gold thread---cut and adhere to the bottom right corner of the card--Using glue dots proved for me the best method. Your circle circumference should be about 2-1/4 in--it gives more character if the circles of threads are not exact but more random.

*Adhere your Label cut out with dimensionals to the bottom right corner over your circle of thread.

Perfect! You have completed this project!
