Rooted In Nature Meets Country Home

Country home rooted in nature 2018

Here is another Autumn themed card featuring Rooted In Nature from the Annual Catalogue as well as Country Home from our Holiday Catalogue--2018 These 5 cards will be presented at my first class for 2018 this month.

*cut Very Vanilla card stock 8-1/2 x 11 in half at 5-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4 to make card base.

*cut Soft Suede card stock for base at 4 x 5-1/4

*cut DSP (grapefruit grove) 2-1/2 x 3-1/2

*cut Tranquil Tide card stock 2-3/4 x 3-3/4
Cut 1 additional piece of card stock---4 in x 1 in for layering to front sentiment.

*cut DSP (Soft Suede leaves) 2-1/2 x 3-1/2

*cut largest stitched oval thin lit with Very Vanilla using the Big Shot--cut another piece of Very Vanilla approximately 3-1/2 in x 3/4 in for sentiment

*Cut & emboss 1--each Tranquil Tide leaf and Grapefruit Grove leaf.

*using Pinewood Planks embossing folder--take Soft Suede piece and run through the Big Shot

*Adhere piece to base of card.

*Stamp the single tall tree to the oval stitched layer.

*Stamp the leaf cluster with Tranquil Tide on Very Vanilla and cut out using Nature Root frame lit and Big Shot.

*Using sponge dauber, distress the edge of the Grapefruit Grove piece using Soft Suede.

*Adhere the Grapefruit Grove DSP on the long side to the Soft Suede embossed piece

*Layer the Soft Suede Leaf DSP to the Tranquil Tide layer & add to the Grapefruit grove piece using dimensionals.

*Add your leave cluster cutouts and the 3 leaf Tranquil Tide and Grapefruit Grove cutouts to the top of the card

*Glue your Leaf Trinket to the Grapefruit Grove 3 piece leaf using multipurpose liquid glue.

*Stamp your sentiment to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock about 3-1/2 in long using Soft Suede---layer on top of a piece of Tranquil Tide.

*Stamp sentiment of choice to inside of card base in Soft Suede.

*Stamp single leafs to upper right corner (2) with Tranquil Tide---you may "stamp off" x 1 to produce a softer look

*Adhere to the bottom of the embossed Soft Suede 1st layer using dimensionals.

*With a 5 in piece of Natures twine (any color) wrap to the front of all layers and secure with snail to the back of the Soft Suede embossed piece.

*Make a bow with the twine and adhere with a glue dot.

*Adhere all the layers to the base card
