2019 Christmas Sampler
H i Everyone! I am back with another beautiful design for your Holiday Season---this is more than a card--it's 5 cards in one complete in a Sampler for yourself or as a gift. You can use this design as shown or change it up for any season or occasion. Have Fun!
Base layer---9 x 9 in -- Designer Series paper
Layer 1--black--7-1/2 x 7-1/2 in
Layer 2--red or green--7-1/4 x 7-1/4 in
Layer 2 on top of 1 on top of the Base Layer
BOX #1 (TIS THE SEASON)
*base color---2-1/4 x 4-1/2 in
*1st layer--very vanilla--2-1/8 x 4-3/8 in
*2nd layer--DSP--2 x 4-1/4 in
*3rd layer--solid color--Use the 2nd largest stitched oval from the stitched framelit dies --oval measures 1-7/8 x 2-3/4 in
*2 pieces of Very Vanilla to cut the Holly leaf design --Toile Christmas---sentiment from Tidings All Around.
*layer 2nd layer to 1st layer and then to base layer---add oval to top---stamp your leaf holly design---with Real Red or Garden Green---center on oval and adhere stamp sentiment and die cut with Stitched Label Framelits.
May use any adhesive--add dimensionals if you life and color the berries on your leaf holly with Real Red Stampin' Blend--may add a couple of red rhinestone basic jewels
*Base Solid Layer---4-1/2 x 4-1/2 in
*1st Layer---Very Vanilla--4-3/8 x 4-3/8 in
*1 piece of scrap very Vanilla for cardinal--apporoximately 2-1/2 x 5 in
*Scrap Garden Green for sentiment--approximately 2-1/2 x 4 in
*Cut leaves -- several pieces from leaf punch, sprig punch or any leaf die cuts you may have--to have variety--You may various green shades and add a gold foil leaf for variation.
*two pieces of Read Red ribbon measuring 6 in and 4 in
*Stamp the large wreath image from Tidings All Around on the Very Vanilla 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 in just to the right of the mid section so you are close to the right edge. This leaves room on the left for the ribbon edging.
*On your scrap Very Vanilla, stamp your Cardinal from Toile Christmas with Memento Black ink on the 2-1/2 x 5 in piece.
*When dry---color with the Real Red Stampin' Blend
*Die cut with the Christmas Cardinal Die
*Align your leafs on the right side of the wreath. Use a small amount of liquid glue.
*Stamp your Garden Green scrap with the sentiment from Toile Christmas using Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink. This is pigment ink so thicker and takes a bit longer to dry,
Die cut your sentiment---glue your 6 in piece of Real Red ribbon to the left side of the piece---secure in the back with adhesive of your choice. Use the 4 in piece of ribbon to tie a knot bow at the top---after you add ribbon, align your sentiment and cardinal where you want on the block and secure with glue or dimensionals.
*you may add some red rhinestone jewels to your wreath for a bit of glitter.
*Base solid color---2-1/4 x 2-1/4 in
*1st layer--Very Vanilla---2-1/8 x 2-1/8 in
*Stamp Very Vanilla using Garden Green or the Real Red with the small leaf cluster from Tidings All Around Stamp Set.
*Stamp NOEL on the scrap piece of Very Vanilla using Garden Green or Real Red ink from Tidings All Around Stamp Set
*Die cut the sentiment using the smallest oval from Stitched Shape Oval Framelit
*Cut a 3 in piece of Real Red ribbon and layer on top of the Very Vanilla Stamped piece
*Using dimensionals ---add your stamped oval on top
*Embellish with 1 Toile Tiding Glimmer enamel dots.
*Base solid layer is 2 x 2-1/4 in
*1st layer of Very Vanilla---1-7/8 x 2-1/8 in
*2nd layer--solid contrast color--1 X 2-1/8 in.
*3rd layer--1/2 in x 2-1/8 in of DSP
*cut 2 filigrees using Gold foil from the Chrismas Cardinal Die set.
*1 scrap piece of Very Vanilla and 1 piece of Garden Green
Assemble Layer 3-to 2-to 1 using adhesive of choice---add your 2 filigrees on your block using liquid glue
*Using the MERRY CHRISTMAS from Itty Bitty Greetings (retired) or any small sentiment---stamp on a piece of Very Vanilla Scrap
*Punch with the Banner Punch--punch out an additional piece of Garden Green and layer under your sentiment piece as in picture. Add a couple of Toile Christmas Glitter Enamel Dots.
*Adhere the sentiment piece to the block with dimensionals.
BOX #5---The easiest!!
*Base solid layer--2-1/4 x 2-1/4 in
*1st layer--Very Vanilla--2-1/8 x 2-1/8 in
*2nd layer---DSP--1-1/2 x 2-1/8 in
*Solid contrast circle ---using 3rd largest circle die from Stitched Shape Circle Framelits
1-7/8 in circle
*DSP of choice--large enough piece to cut with Pine Tree Punch---1-1/2 x 2-3/4 in
*Layer The stitched circle to the DSP to the Very Vanilla and then to the solid color base piece---use snail or glue.
*with Dimensionals, attatch your DSP Pine Tree punch to the top. Decorate with the Toile Christmas Glitter enamel dots.
You may change up the designs---stamps---dies cuts or punches with any colors or theme you may want---the measurements on this design will be the same! Have Fun!!!
