Botanical Butterfly Card

This lovely card was made with the SAB item---Botanical Butterfly DSP the Duet Butterfly punch, and Beauty Abounds Stamp Set. It didn't take many supplies to create this beauty. Enjoy!

*Cut 2 pieces of Highland Heather Card stock at 4 in x 5-1/4 in.

*Cut 1 piece of Whisper White Card stock at 3-1/4 in x 3-3/4 in.

*3 pieces of the Butterfly DSP cut: 1-1/2in x 3-3/4 in; 3-1/4 in x 1-1/2 in; 1/2 in x 3-1/4 in

*Punch out one of the medium Butterflies with the Butterfly punch.

*1 scrap strip of Whisper White card stock

*Using the Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp the sentiment "A Friend Is Someone..." on the Whisper White Strip---cut evening with one end in a Banner.

*Using the small Butterfly stamp---stamp 3 butterflies to the 3-3/4 in x 5 in Whisper White Card stock in the upper left corner---use Balmy Blue Ink and Highland Heather Ink.

*Take the DSP measuring 1-1/2 in x 3-3/4 in on the Butterfly side and adhere to the left side of one of the Highland Healther pieces. Keep a 1/8 in border to the left side--top, bottom and side.

*Emboss the 3-1/4 in x 3-3/4 in Whisper White piece--set aside. Using the 3-1/4 in x 1-1/2 in DSP on the polka dot side--secure to the middle of the embossed piece. Take the 1/2 in x 3-1/4 in piece of DSP on the butterfly side and place on top of the polka dot piece. With a 4-4/12 in piece of Whisper White ribbon, place on top and secure on the back. Secure the whole layer to the embossed Whisper White piece.

*Take the punched out butterfly and bend wings--secure the center with glue as if butterfly was in flight.

*Add sentiment strip to the left lower corner--using dimensionals.

*Add sequins for sparkle.
